Our Volunteer Positions

Do you love art? Find a role to contribute to that excites your interests.

Learning & Engagement

Join a fantastic team to deliver informative hands-on exhibition tours, and aid in art explorations. Learning & Engagement volunteers are asked to commit 6 hours throughout the month.

Education

The Gallery offers many registered children’s classes, creativity camps and drop in family programs.  Education volunteers work with the programming staff to support these classes and camps.

Special Events

Special event volunteers help at various Gallery events throughout the year. These range from exhibition openings, fundraising events, and our annual KidzArt Dayz family festival. 

Marketing

There is so much happening at the Gallery and we can always use help spreading information to the Prince George community. Volunteer tasks vary based on different marketing initiatives. 

Administration

Administration volunteers support the Gallery staff with miscellaneous administrative needs like data entry, organising our gallery library, filing, etc.

Shop

Our gift shop features local artists from across the region of Fraser Fort George. Shop volunteers help operate the gift shop, promote events and artists’ works, keep the shop tidy, and aid in our inventory counts. 

Become a volunteer

The minimum age for volunteers is 14

All volunteers are required to undergo a police security check

After 10 hours of volunteer service, volunteers receive a complimentary individual membership
