In art and in my life, I am particularly drawn to objects that are rustic, well-worn, and aged, yet timeless. I use recycled copper and eco-friendly sterling silver in most of my jewelry and I enjoy using techniques that add texture and patina to the finished pieces. Enamel, fused to the copper with a torch, adds bold colour to some of my work.
Fun Fact!
I recycle Obsolete Canadian copper pennies into a lot of my copper jewelry. My enamelled penny earrings are made so that the queen shows on the back of one penny and the Canadian maple leaf on the other.
What is your dream project?
To complete a collection of jewelry using stones that I have collected locally and from around our beautiful province.
