Fused Shards

I discovered this functional art form about 10 years ago while on winter vacation. I enjoy the creative challenge of being inspired by a piece of glass or a photo and making the glass into a better form than my inspiration. Whether exploring textures or making my scoring more precise, or finding colour reactions within the glass pieces, this is a fulfilling way of spending time and having a beautiful but useful dish at the end of the process.
