Situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, Two Rivers Gallery is a centre for contemporary Canadian art and creativity in Prince George and the Central Interior.
Watercolour paintings and graphite drawings of sights from around the world are shared through this exhibition of work by Prince George artist, Wendy Framst. Her travels have taken her to Paris, Mexico, the Netherlands, Tunisia, and Scotland. During these adventures, Framst takes many photographs and finds inspiration in architecture, people, and seemingly mundane objects. Upon returning home, her photographs serve as source material for future work. Postcards from my Walkabouts speaks to the impact travel can have on an individual, as well as the value of returning home after a fulfilling journey.
