Situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, Two Rivers Gallery is a centre for contemporary Canadian art and creativity in Prince George and the Central Interior.
Limbinal Mappings is an interdisciplinary installation. It features large scale ink, and embroidered abstract experiential maps on textile, movement-based performances, and an original ambient soundscape created in collaboration with sound artist Duncan Bowers (Syntheatrics). Both meditative and exploratory, the installation offers audiences and viewers an opportunity to engage with remembered experiences of place and to consider the personal significance of our daily movements. At the opening, in collaboration with Method Dance Society there will be a movement performance with two others to follow on later dates.
