Life Pod

Life Pod is Karl Mattson’s response to the lack of a proper emergency response plan to certain aspects of the oil and gas industry in North Eastern British Columbia. Specifically, sour gas leaks. The Life Pod is a self contained breathing apparatus designed to hold and supply air for us to 4 hours. The pod was designed to hold Karl and his small family. The project was created from an old flue tank, scrap iron and various recycled objects.
