Situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, Two Rivers Gallery is a centre for contemporary Canadian art and creativity in Prince George and the Central Interior.
Whether through keeping a journal or a blog, photography or painting, David Marchant is compelled to record the world around him. Within his art practice, Marchant is drawn to capture rich colour and vibrant natural light. As a resident of McBride, BC, Marchant finds endless inspiration in the landscape and environment of the Robson Valley. The paintings featured in this exhibition are based on photographs that he has taken of surrounding mountain ranges, farmland, vehicles, and his garden.
