Painted Orange Rock Community Collaboration

September 30, 2023

September 30th is the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation also known as Orange Shirt Day. Two Rivers Gallery invites you to get out into nature and hunt for the perfect rock to paint orange, decorate and add to an outdoor collaboration.

Let’s show some community love and draw awareness and support for residential school survivors and remember all those that never made it home to their families.

Rocks should be of good size (3-6 inches) painted orange and decorated. They can be placed outside the main entrance to the gallery at any time. New rocks will be treated with a clear coat for protection once added.

The rocks will then be taken to Cottonwood park and added to a community art installation in October.
