Join us virtually for an artist talk with Of Wounds And Songs artist Reyhan Yazdani. Yazdani is an interdisciplinary artist and designer based in Vancouver. She explores themes of exile, language, and diaspora through diverse media, from paper works to poetry. Drawing from her background in architecture and fine arts, her projects engage with material experimentation and cultural narratives.

In collaboration with Vancouver’s Iranian Visual Arts (VIVA) Alliance, this exhibition featuring the works of Iranian-Canadian artists seeks to explore narratives of resistance, resilience, and adaptability in navigating dichotomous experiences while celebrating singular instances of creative and cultural self-sovereignty that subvert prevailing norms and regulations.
