Fill a 6’ x 6’ piece of canvas with paint to then be made into one large orange shirt.
Community Event
Children – Similar to the look of caribou hair tufting, participants will glue mini pom poms onto orange felt cut outs. Orange shirts will have safety pins added so they can be worn as a pin.
Adults – Take your pin a step further and add a beaded edge around your pin.
Community Event
An assortment of colouring pages will be available to pass time while participants finish painting rocks or beaded pins.

She is best known for her acrylic paintings which depict floral patterns inspired by Métis and First Nations historical beadwork art. Belcourt has created large, mural-sized acrylic paintings that resemble the beadwork of her ancestors and community, by using her brush to make tiny dots that resemble beadwork. Her paintings are filled with floral designs that include insects, birds and other animals, spread out across the canvas.
