This page includes images and specifications of our exhibition spaces like our Main Galleries, which are environmentally controlled to generally accepted museum standards; our outdoor Sculpture Court, including weight capacity and size considerations; and the Galleria which is not environmentally controlled.
Annually, we invite artists, particularly from central and Northern BC to submit artwork to a themed exhibition.
Check back regularly or subscribe to our social media for upcoming calls for submission.
Our Main Galleries generally change quarterly and focus on work by established artists. We encourage artists to share websites or digital portfolios with our curatorial team rather than submit fully fledged proposals for exhibition. We especially encourage, artists from equity seeking communities, and artists who are gender diverse, LGBTQIA2S+, Indigenous, Black, Persons of Colour and Persons with Disabilities to connect with us.
The Galleria is aimed at emerging artists from around our Region. This space comes with a greater risk of light exposure and exhibitions rarely exceed two months in duration. We work with many first time exhibiting artists in this program and offering guidance and support. We encourage interested artists to speak with us about an exhibition idea or, if an idea is more concrete, to submit a form detailing their project.
Our Sculpture Court, located outside on our second floor, is dedicated to exhibiting sculpture and installation work capable of withstanding weather and the change of seasons. Exhibitions in this space can last up to nine months. Apply for a sculpture court exhibition using this form.
