live art auction

THANK YOU to everyone who attended the 2017 event! Your support means we can continue to be a hub for arts & culture in Prince George! Stay tuned for the date of the 2018 auction.

Proceeds from this event help support many of the services the Gallery delivers in Prince George, including Art Heals (Hospital outreach program) and MakerLab Youth Immersion (program for at-risk teens).

Your ticket includes hors d’oevres and a glass of wine or beer. Witness cut-throat bidding wars as local collectors duel for a piece of fine art before the bang of the auctioneer’s gavel announces the winner! There will also be a silent auction featuring the work of local artisans. We offer something for all tastes and budgets!

Tickets are $25 each, or 2 for $40. They are available at the gallery, by phone (250-614-7800) or online:

If you can't attend in person, fill out our Absentee Bid Form online or by phone 250-614-7800.

Internationally recognized Vancouver artist Pnina Granirer was born in Romania, and later moved to Israel where she studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem. She and her husband settled in Vancouver in 1965 where Granirer has lived and worked since.

A biographical book by Ted Lindberg, Pnina Granirer: Portrait of an Artist, was published by Ronsdale Press in recognition of her 40 Year Retrospective at the Richmond Art Gallery and a film by the same name was released on BRAVO! TV in 2005.
Granirer’s work is found in numerous private and public collections across Canada, the US and Europe. Two Rivers Gallery, the Glenbow Museum in Calgary, the Hamilton Art Gallery and the Museo Granel in Spain, have recently added her work to their collections.

Her work was shown recently in Utrecht in the Netherlands, Cagnes-sur-mer in France, Santiago de Compostela in Spain and Coimbra in Portugal. She is the initiator and co-founder of Artists in our Midst, the popular Westside Open Studios Walk, which is in its 17th year.

Granirer had a dream that was finally realized this month–to see the Wildflower Series hung as a triptych in a public space or home.

In 2012, Two Rivers Gallery produced Granirer’s solo exhibition, The Whisper of Stones (catalogue available).
